You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.

WHEN: Saturday, November,14 at 8:00am
WHERE: Your town, USA
I have had the honor of participating in some of the most important social protests in recent times such as The March against Monsanto, The Climate March, The People’s Second Bill of Rights Labor Rally in Philadelphia and more.
I have stood in protest with my labor brothers and sisters from the Post Office, Verizon, The United Food and Commercial Workers Union and many others. I have rallied for fair pay, safe working conditions, using union labor for city jobs with electricians, carpenters, laborers, and metal workers.
These were all great causes that brought out hundreds of people; sometimes thousands to stand together for a common purpose and try to affect change but these types of rallies are few and far between. It’s hard to rally thousands of people on a regular basis.
The reasons we stand up plod on however. The powers that be that create income inequality, that attack worker’s rights, that continually outsource our jobs, that pollute our communities, that attack the middle class, which degrade the poor, and the homeless, that deny our veterans care and other heinous acts don’t rest. They work continuously and relentlessly to accomplish their goals.
How can regular people fight back?
What can you do as an individual?
Of all the protests and actions I’ve taken, some of the most rewarding were accomplished with a just a few dedicated people standing together.
The Middle Class Action Project was founded with two goals in mind.
First, to inform people and wake them up to what is being done to them.
Second, we strive to get people to take action, to stand up and fight back.
Our dedicated members take part in what we call action days. We take to the streets with signs and flyers and try to shake the apathetic masses out of their stupor. It doesn’t take hundreds of people to do something. It just takes YOU.
On the weekend of November 14th and 15th we urge you to get in the game. It’s very simple, get a few friends and find yourself a location that people will see you. Have a sign that says “Ask me why I’m standing here”.
When people ask you, take your stand….whether you talk about social issues, government issues or local issues, it doesn’t matter, just talk to the members of your community. Inform them; try to get them to get in the game. If you can’t find a few friends, stand alone.
Take action.
Send us pics or videos of yourselves and we will post them on our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. These pics and videos hopefully will inspire others to get involved. Our group doesn’t have any dues, there’s no initiation, there’s no test or interview to be admitted.
You only need to do one thing, TAKE ACTION.
Wow, this is really impressive! I wish some thing like this was happening in my country.
