Can we talk?

Being the Party of Abortion and Gay Marriage has just worked electoral wonders for the Democratic Party.

Forget about the core economic issues that affect every American every day.

Forget about the squeezing of the middle class out of the existence, the massive degree of income inequality, a rigged economic system that makes it a struggle for all but those at the very top.

Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren.

Forget about the student loan debt crisis that has millions of students including myself trapped in a web of debt.

The only Democrat talking about that is Elizabeth Warren. (#RunWarrenRun)!

The Democratic Party was once the party of the working man and the working woman, but no more. Now it is the party of abortion and gay marriage – and this is leading the party into oblivion.

It was President Bill Clinton who embraced destructive neoliberal economics and deregulation of the big Wall Street banks. In 2008 Barack Obama became the first Democratic presidential candidate to raise more money from Wall Street than his Republican opponent.

And now Hillary Clinton, co-president to Bill Clinton, and best friend to Lloyd Blankfein, CEO and Chairman of Goldman Sachs, is the front runner for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination- leading this party backward.

It is a disgrace, and a mistake that will blowback hard against the Democratic Party in the long run.

  1. I ‘liked’ this until you used two important issues to frame this important message…middle class and economic issues ARE Abortion rights and LBGTQ issues.. and should never be used as a battering ram
