The Middle Class Action Project presented their plan to Congressman Grimm

The Middle Class Action Project (MCAP), which is fighting to protect and resuscitate the American middle class decimated by more than 30 years of outsourcing of good-paying manufacturing jobs, presented their plan entitled Made in New York by New Yorkers to Congressman Michael G. Grimm on Monday March17, 2014. The plan details concrete steps that can be taken to bring manufacturing back to the New York City and State. Congressman Grimm expressed his support, saying, “We are on the same page” and ‘You did a great job”.

In the last few weeks the group’s executive members have also met with State Senators Diane Savino, State Assembly Member Nicole Malliotakis; the staffs of Staten Island Borough President James Oddo and State Senator Andrew J. Lanza. The MCAP are hoping to meet soon with City Comptroller Scott Stringer and Mayor Bill de Blasio.
